Chickadee

A chickadee weighs about the same as four copper pennies.
Less than half an ounce!

Little bird the size of four copper pennies,  stay warm.

Luke 12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies.
Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.

Late are the fall colors.

Cutting firewood along the gravel road.
With permission.   Windfall.
Alfalfa field alongside.
Late are the fall colors.
Green in the month of October.

No snow to speak of.

In 2024, in January, in February- no snow in the land of snow, but on the ice - there are Fish Kites!   To the right, are the whale kites.

Heaven

When I see an airplane or an eagle
I look up!  And beyond.
My father was a pilot.
Heaven is where he is now.
I think about that.  Heaven.
I think there will be people in heaven
who are happy my father is there with them.
They will like
the many delightful stories he's apt to tell!

I think, sometimes,  my father looks in on me ~
When I see an eagle  circle  overhead, I look up.
 Towards heaven.

Autumn variety

A country road
that  I have not traveled before.

Past the swampland and into the trees.

Up and down the hills.
