Turning over a new leaf~spinach, kale, cabbage, mustard greens...and Rah! Rah! Raw vegetables. And they slayed that nasty old Sugar Dragon and lived happily ever after.
Winter Companions: I went for a walk today. Down snow covered roads. But it was not a trudge. Soaked up the "D" rays with the birch trees white, the pine needles green, and those brown oak limbs without their leaves.

If a kid had a pair of skates~ there's good ice this year, and a thousand lakes in Otter tail County. And today, there are skaters on a homemade rink with a string of Christmas lights and a fire pit. A rink in time for the holidays.

Today, I'm putting away the Christmas ornaments. This year they stayed in festive boxes under the tree, for me to bring out and look at and remember the past of Christmas. Most of the ornaments are homemade, and they're a bit worn and frayed. Good endings.
